      English Heritage

      We were commissioned to create a suite of materials including brochures, a touring exhibition and a website, for a three month public consultation on Stonehenge – to canvass views on both environmental improvements to the Stonehenge site and revisions to the World Heritage Site Management Plan. The brochure generated an excellent response from interested parties for PR consultants Grayling to present onto English Heritage. Following the consultation, we designed and produced the 80,000 word management plan and summary documents.

      WaveCrest – a leading telephone call provider – commissioned us to overhaul Gotalk’s brand identity. Evolution rather than revolution was the result as we created a cleaner, sharper and fresher look. Consistency across all communication touch points added to an image of credibility.

      A leading independent mortgage broking business, commissioned us to design their identity, marketing collateral and website.

      Distinctive typography and colour scheme visually launched this new company. Light-hearted, iconic photography appears throughout the website.

      Royal College of
      General Practitioners

      New ways of working and the need to appeal to younger audiences called for a new corporate identity for the Royal College of General Practitioners. After extensive consultation, we created an identity that acknowledges the past but clearly positions the College as fit for the 21st century.

      Comprehensive but user-friendly guidelines accompany the new identity to ensure successful implementation in all areas, including literature, website and key media appearances.

      Measurement System

      The UK’s national infrastructure of measurement laboratories, part of the Department of Business Innovation and Skills (BIS), required an ‘umbrella’ identity for the UK’s four measurement laboratories.

      Our design provides stature, sobriety and alludes to measurement in its many forms. The new identity system was implemented across print, on-line, exhibition and presentation media, with the help of our full guidelines.

      We have helped manage the council identity for over 10 years producing guidelines for its use and application. We have an extensive track record communicating to staff and residents.

      TORCH has created campaigns to fight fraud, stay active, prevent street crime and encourage people to register to vote. In each case we have developed a tailored message presented in a compelling way that is appropriate to the medium used.

      Girls’ Day School Trust

      The UK's leading network of independent girls' schools (and 14th largest charity) worked with TORCH to update its branding to better reflect its vision and raise the organisation's profile. It was keen to reflect the strength of its network and ensure that its name was more consistently communicated.

      Our solution gave greater emphasis to the shorter name form, created a simpler mark, that lends itself particularly well to electronic communications, and provided guidelines that respected individual school's branding.

      The Call Back

      The UK’s first online triple threat talent search. By integrating YouTube’s API, we created a site where contestants can submit their audition videos to be reviewed by the judges and the public. Taking advantage of the YouTube software, we were able to keep the build costs to a minimum by embedding YouTube functionality directly into the site.

      TORCH repositioned Style Lens with a new visually stunning and highly functional HTML5 website for the fashion industry. A stylish and contemporary design which acknowledges the complexities of delivering high quality images in large quantities. Our design ensures the user has an informative and visually stimulating online experience.

      When asked to design and produce BTEC course material products, we were able to design and develop fresh, user friendly online guides, working closely with existing branding guidelines. We created designs, which we then developed into six animated HTML5 iGuides.
